Neumünster Zoo

Our visitors can experience our motto "nature experience - deceleration" up close.

Marvel at Germany's largest polar bear, "Vitus", who stands an impressive 3.60 metres tall and can be observed at the underwater view. Enjoy our playful Barbary macaques and Humboldt penguins. The pathways are suitable for wheelchairs and the shady old trees invite you to take carefree walks between the spacious animal enclosures.

At the large adventure playground children can run around carefree, and there are also various barbecue areas available to our visitors, the use of which costs €15.00 per barbecue area. A barbecue area is free of charge if you booked a birthday or pedagogical school tour as well.

Your very special moments, such as children's birthday parties and weddings, can be experienced in an animal ambience and, if desired, with direct animal contact.
